The training “Regulation 6 – The Accommodation Standard” equips supported accommodation staff with the knowledge and practical skills to maintain safe, stable, and supportive living environments for young people. The course focuses on meeting legal and regulatory expectations, including health and safety, risk management, privacy, dignity, and young people’s participation in shaping their environment. Staff will learn how to identify and respond to maintenance or safety issues, uphold standards of care, and ensure compliance with Ofsted’s expectations for supported accommodation services.
