The Online Safety & Digital Safeguarding Training Course equips staff working with children and young people with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise online risks, support safe digital engagement, and respond effectively to online safeguarding concerns. Grounded in statutory guidance—including KCSIE, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023, GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018—the course helps staff understand current online threats, promote digital resilience, maintain professional boundaries, protect children’s data, and work in partnership with external agencies. Participants learn how to create a safe digital culture that balances protection with children’s rights to access and participate in the online world.
