The Prevent Duty & Radicalisation Awareness Training equips staff working in residential and supported accommodation with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to safeguard children and young people from radicalisation and extremism. Grounded in the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 and Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018), the course helps staff understand the Prevent framework, recognise early indicators of extremist influence, and take appropriate, timely action. Participants learn how to record and report concerns, work collaboratively with safeguarding and Prevent partners, build resilience in young people, and embed Prevent principles into everyday practice and organisational culture.
