The Data Protection & GDPR Training provides staff working in residential and supported accommodation with the essential knowledge and practical skills to protect personal and sensitive information in line with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, Ofsted SCCIF requirements, and organisational policies. The course focuses on understanding legal duties, maintaining confidentiality, ensuring secure record-keeping, using IT systems safely, responding to data breaches, and supporting children’s rights under data protection law. Participants will learn how to apply GDPR principles in everyday practice, safeguard young people’s information, and contribute to a culture of accountability, accuracy, and information security across their service.
