The training “Understanding and Responding to Child Exploitation (CSE)” equips residential care staff with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to safeguard children and young people from exploitation. The course focuses on recognising the signs of child sexual exploitation (CSE), harmful sexual behaviour (HSB), and associated risks, while ensuring responses are trauma-informed, empathetic, and legally compliant. Participants will develop the skills to protect victims, support young people who display harmful behaviours, engage families, and collaborate with multi-agency partners to create safe and protective care environments.
